Raja (“King” in Indian language) is a richly decorated 3D printed nylon jewelry collection. Consisting of a dense and visually overloaded mesh, soft to the touch but extremely resistant, it wants to be a contemporary reinterpretation of the opulent traditional jewels of the Indian aristocracy, synthesizing their typical intricate complexity to enhance the production technology. The jewel’s geometry is in fact irreplicable with technologies different from SLS / SLA 3D printing.
